Look what’s new in 2010!

  • Two years in the making, Calvin photography professor Jennifer Hoag and CCEP Program Manager Jeanette Henderson are excited to bring a new camp for middle school students to learn more about digital photography and the natural world around them in the camp title “Picturing Place."
  • Last year, we created discovery pages for our 4 and 5 year olds campers to share what they did each day of camp with their parents. After receiving requests from many of the parents, this year we are also providing discovery sheets for the 6 to 8 year olds campers.
  • This year, we are allowing 6 year olds to attend the 4 and 5 year olds camp. For some children, this camp maybe more age appropriate. Parents please choose the most age appropriate camp for them based on the grade level they would be in school.
  • Miss Jodi is back teaching with us this summer. For those of you who attended two years ago, Miss Jodi was one of our favorite camper leaders. Last year, she worked as one of our summer stewards doing research on the preserve. This summer she is looking forward to sharing with you all she learned and her new favorite places on the preserve.

For those families that would like to send their children to camp but are experiencing financial hardships, you made pay the camp fee in installments via checks. Please mail a check for 1/2 of the registration fee within 7 days of registering to reserve your space. The rest of the fee is due by June 1, 2010. Both checks need to be made out to Calvin College.
